Thursday, January 18, 2018, 07:30pm

7:30 pm  Thursday Jan. 18 — Don White and Lawrie Driscoll read from the short works of Shawn Vestal.

Shawn Vestal made his literary debut with Godforsaken Idaho, a story collection that won the 2014 PEN Robert W. Bingham Prize and was shortlisted for the Saroyan Prize. A graduate of the Eastern Washington University MFA program, his stories have appeared in Tin House, Ecotone, McSweeney’s, The Southern Review and other journals. He writes a column for The Spokesman-Review in Spokane, Washington, where he lives with his wife and son.

PT Shorts has moved to 3rd Thursdays in 2018 - not Saturdays during Gallery Walk.

KCPT and Northwind Arts Center promote outreach activities that embrace opportunities for emerging and novice artists to learn from experienced, professional artists practicing their craft. PT Shorts gives platform to budding performers by nurturing artistic risk and embracing creative expression through literature readings.

It is a program that engages, enhances, and inspires creative artists to connect with each other and our community. Both performers and attendees of these theatre performances may be inspired to further explore the performing arts.

Some performances will have the author in attendance -- please check with Key City Public Theatre for more information.
